I have created a new user with some permission. The user creation was not an issue. Now, I want to create an article using the new user. I logged in successfully, however when I click + {Create button} nothing happens. FYI, I can create a plain text in case of Administrator. What am I doing wrong here? Access superdesk from external
Hello.
I run successfully the superdesk demo script on my ubuntu server, all docker containers are running, i made a curl request on the server to http://localhost:8080 and it does return the login page. Now i want to access from external ip, according to the superdesk container its mapping 8080->80 so i can access by the ip using the port 80. When i open the server ip from the browser there's nothing.
What i need to do to allow access from my server ip. I already have port 80 open, i test it with a nginx container and it works, just in case.

Regarding FTP Destination Configuration for Subscriber
I'm able to get the two formats(NINJS and Email) of output as Delivery type of Email.
but i was failed to get NewsML format here is my Subscriber Configuration to get published output.
Format : NewsML G2
Delivery Type : FTP
Host : ftp://<my_hostname>
Username : <username>
Password : <Password>
Path : /NewsML (i.e Folder name in that FTP server)
Local Path : /NewsML
But I'm not getting any NewsML file as the Output in my server folder(/NewsML).
Can any one help in this issue. Thanks In advance.

liveblog and superdesk in-one
hi,
i just wanted to try superdesk and liveblog. i use the liveblog-3.0.9 release for that.
what i dont understand is, liveblog pulls superdesk from the fork github.com/liveblog/superdesk .
but the newest superdesk release is 1.0-rc2.
why is there a fork?
when i want to install all, so do i need both superdesks? or is the liveblog superdesk fork
sufficient to use all superdesk features?
do i gain a better integration for liveblog on the release superdesk instance?

Ingest, route, filter Questions!!
1. How do we automatically ingest articles into Superdesk (from files / emails) ? Currently, we are goint to Ingest Dashboard and manually fetching the articles.
2. How do I configure the routes and macros? Where can I find the information?
3. How do I send an incoming article to a different desk based on the content in the subject of the article? For example, if the subject in an email contails Tennis, it should be sent to Sports Desk. This should happen automatically without me having to do it manually in the Ingest Dashboard.

Embed code Liveblog not available
I have installed Liveblog on two different, clean, Ubuntu 16.04 LTS server installations and on both installation I've the same issue. Liveblog is running, I'm able to make new users, add new liveblogs, post items to the blogs, however, I can not embed a blog in my website.
The box showing the embed code remains empty. There is no code and clicking on the link icon brings me back to the liveblog admin page.
Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm trying to setup the http push publishing and I would like to know how to setup the Assets URL field. My Superdesk server is in my local network and I need to send the associated images to a Drupal server in the Internet.
I can receive the JSON in my Drupal server and process the data, but I need to receive the images too.
- Is the Assets URL the endpoint in my Drupal server or in the Superdesk local machine?

Liveblog on AWS
I'm having issues getting started installing Live Blog on an Ubuntu 16 AWS instance. I have tried the local setup as well as running it in a docker container. I can get the client view to show up but there are issues with the other services like the api and websockets. It says the the ports are unreachable which could either mean the firewall on aws is preventing it somehow even though i've opened up incoming traffic on all ports or those services stop listening. I could also have something set up wrong in configuration. Have you had any experience setting up on an AWS ec2 instance? If so do you have any tips for me? Which installation guide should I be using for production? Any assistance would be great! Thank you.
